Squeezing its way in at number 10 is Lost. The series kicks off with a bang as a jumbo jet crash lands on a remote desert island, throwing together a motley collection of passengers, a few crazies and the odd imposter. It quickly becomes apparent that all is not as it seems and for the most part we remain as confused as the cast about what exactly is going on. It raises more questions than answers and the minute you think you’re finally getting a handle on things another curve ball is thrown your way. But therein lies the charm of Lost – in the early seasons at least. It would rank higher but for the fact that it loses its way in seasons four and five as the suits try to eke out a storyline too many. Don’t lose interest, this needs to be watched to the end.
